My name is Poison Allen. Yes, that is my real name. I was named after the rock band! I am Mexican-American, born in the heart of Michigan but I grew up in Florida. Growing up, I traveled all over the eastern side of the United States living in many diverse places. I ultimately planted my roots here in Kentucky in 2010. Over the years I have found a love for Kentucky and the beautiful foothills surrounding my home and I am working towards my goal in making a tangible difference in my community. As someone who relocated here, I always tell people, “There is no place like Kentucky!” I am fluent in both Spanish and English. I have a deep passion to help people from all walks of life and a desire to facilitate change in people’s lives and having the opportunity to speak two languages makes it a little bit easier to do what I love to do!
